CHEMICAL PEELS
The Chemical Peel is a procedure which involves a chemical solution that is applied
to the skin which causes a layer of skin to separate and peel off. The new, regenerated
skin underneath is usually smoother in texture and more even in color than the old skin.
There are various strengths and concentrations of Chemical Peels each developed for
specific indications such as wrinkles, acne, overall skin texture and skin tone. Some
chemical peels are mild and have no down time, others are stronger and have down
time for up to one week. The stronger chemical peels are deeper and remove thicker

Indication: For patients undergoing medical acne treatment.
Recommended Series: Monthly facials, including extractions, throughout the treatment
process, then as needed every 6 to 8 weeks for maintenance.
Downtime: Not significant.
Areas: Face, Back, Chest
Depending on each patient's individual needs, extractions and calming treatments are
performed to help cleanse the skin and contribute to the medical treatment of acne. Back facials
are often recommended in conjunction with PhotoDynamic Therapy treatment.
HYPERBARIC OXYGEN FACIAL
